Abstract

Maria Cecilia Mollica
Sobre processos sintáticos que migram da fala para a escrita
167-171 (complete pdf)

In this paper, the author demonstrates some reasons why speech processes enter the written language. She proves that simplification phenomena have more chances of migration, especially in popular media and in "oral texts." She offers a new basis for a Theory of Language Change from a perspective which considers both modalities of language.
