Agnieszka Anuszka Bukowska
27-34 (complete paper or proceedings contents)

Abstract

The paper discusses the role of sampling in historical lexicographic research. It shows that metalexicographers notoriously fail to apply statistically sound sampling methods which would guarantee sample representativeness. Further, statistically sound alternatives are presented and evaluated empirically.
