Linguistics Working Papers Directory

Welcome to the on-line Linguistics Working Papers Directory (LWPD), published by Cascadilla Press. The section for each series lists general information about the series, as well as contact and ordering information. If you have additional or updated information for any working papers series, please send e-mail to webmaster@cascadilla.com.

Abstracts for many current working papers volumes are available from Blackwell's Linguistics Abstracts series, including all abstracts previously published in Cascadilla Press' Linguistics Working Papers Abstracts. Cascadilla Press is still collecting abstracts from working papers volumes for inclusion in Blackwell's Linguistics Abstracts. We have an abstracts submission page available if you'd like to send in abstracts for a working papers volume.

Working papers series

Note: this site previously listed each series on a separate page. We think it may be more useful to have everything on one page, so we're trying it this way. If you have any feedback about this change (positive or negative), please send e-mail to webmaster@cascadilla.com.

Monash University Linguistics Papers

The linguistics research community at Monash University is broadly based. It includes current students, former graduates and staff of the Linguistics Department, as well as researchers working on language and language-related issues from other departments and faculties throughout the university.

Monash University Linguistics Papers (MULP), although an initiative of the Linguistics Department, is a journal which aims to bring together this research community and showcase their work. Each issue of MULP consists of articles, review articles on a current topic in linguistics and book or software reviews. Most contributors are associated with the Monash Linguistics Department either as postgraduate students or recent graduates, but other relevant submissions are also considered. Student research done in collaboration with a staff member is welcomed as it fosters ties between students and staff. Commissioned pieces by visiting and resident academics on their areas of expertise and interest are also included.

Research on Spoken Language Processing Progress Report (Indiana University)

Our main goal with this annual progress report is to summarize our accomplishments over the past year and make them readily available to granting agencies, sponsors and interested colleagues in the field. Some of the papers are extended manuscripts that have been prepared for formal publication as journal articles or book chapters. Other papers are simply short reports of research presented at professional meetings during the past year or brief summaries of on-going research projects in the laboratory. From time to time, we also have included new information on instrumentation and software developments when we think this information would be of interest or help to others.

University of Connecticut Working Papers in Linguistics

The University of Connecticut Working Papers in Linguistics is a publication of the graduate students at the University of Connecticut. It provides a venue for students, faculty and other affiliated linguists to make their current research available to the wider linguistic community. Our goal is to publish contributions that are still in the early stages of development in order to encourage an active discussion of fresh ideas from all areas of specialization. The volumes will appear (semi)-annually and are distributed by MIT Working Papers in Linguistics, that also distributes UCONN dissertations in Linguistics.
