Box 440355 Somerville, MA 02144, USA Publication Agreement for Editors of Conference Proceedings Name of conference: Conference dates and location: Cascadilla Proceedings Project, an imprint of Cascadilla Press, is pleased to undertake the publication of the proceedings of the above conference (the "Work") for which you are an editor. As a condition of publication, it is essential that Cascadilla Press own the copyright in the Work as a collective work, which is distinct from the copyright in any particular contribution to the Work. WORK MADE FOR HIRE: You and Cascadilla Press agree that all of your work in selecting and assembling the contributions to the Work and putting the Work into final form is and shall be considered a work made for hire. You agree that the authorship and original copyright in the Work as a collective work reside with Cascadilla Press. COPYRIGHT ASSIGNMENT: If for any reason the Work as a collective work would not be considered a work made for hire under applicable law, you hereby grant and assign to Cascadilla Press the full copyright in the Work without limitation. AUTHOR APPROVALS: You agree that every electronic file and printout of each author's paper that you give us either (1) has been supplied by the author, or (2) has been approved in its current form by the author. Author approval of a printout is only valid if the author has received and approved a photocopy of the actual material you give us or a duplicate printout made at the same time as the material you give us. Author approval of an electronic file is only valid if the author has received and approved the same version of the electronic file that you give us. WARRANTY: You warrant that you have the right to make this agreement, and you warrant that any contribution you have made to the Work does not infringe any rights of others. COMPENSATION: As compensation for your preparation of the Work and the above grant and assignment of rights, you may purchase copies of the Work at the lowest prevailing author price or author discount by direct order to Cascadilla Press.
